Data Mining and Data Modeling
The Modeling Collection offers a suite of learning and data modeling tools,
statistical filters, and clustering components optimized for large real-world
data sets. These components extend Pipeline Pilot's standard capabilities to
include statistics and predictive modeling for data mining applications.

The R Statistics Collection provides components that implement statistical
methods for data manipulation, clustering, learning, and data analysis. The
underlying statistical engine is the widely used public domain R Statistics
package.

The Decision Trees Collection provides components for the construction,
validation, and deployment of recursive partitioning models. Using
ArborPharm™ technology from NovoDynamics®, these components work with
both continuous and binary descriptors, such as molecular structure
fingerprints.

Imaging
The Imaging Collection brings the power of Pipeline Pilot's workflow
automation and visual programming capabilities to image processing tasks.
It provides sophisticated components for enhancing, processing, analyzing,
measuring and reporting image data and integrating that image data with
numerical, chemical, graphical and textual data within a unified computing
framework.

Reporting
The Reporting Collection provides components to create customized reports
for visualizing the results of data analysis and mining protocols. The
Reporting components form an integrated part of the data analysis
protocols, so the reporting phase becomes part of the overall analysis
protocol.

Text Mining and Analysis
The Text Analytics Collection provides components for literature searching
and text mining, document retrieval, text annotation, trend and correlation
analyses, and many other text analysis procedures. These functions can be
integrated with data analysis processes to complement and enhance data
analysis protocols.
